In this track, an exceptionally talented student will declare an unstructured major at KFUPM – a major that does not currently exist at KFUPM, and, maybe not even at any university. Examples include computational neuroscience, AI and data analytics and so on. This track is open to newly admitted students as well as Freshmen students. The student is free to structure the program as appropriate from courses within or outside KFUPM, and is allowed to spend one to two semesters in an international university as part of an extended exchange program, to complete the degree requirements in the selected field. This is a very selective track that will be open to only a few students every year, but is expected to capitalize on the energy, intelligence, and the desire to make a difference for humanity in these students.
