Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 2024-2025
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program brings accomplished, mid-career professionals from Saudi Arabia and around the world to the United States for an academic year of study and professional experience. The program provides a basis for establishing long-lasting, productive partnerships and relationships between citizens of the United States and their professional counterparts in Saudi Arabia, fostering an exchange of knowledge and mutual understanding. The program also offers a 16-week Long-Term English (LTE) language training opportunity for applicants who seek to improve their language skills prior to beginning the program. Deanship of Research Oversight and Coordination would like to invite all interested KFUPM Saudi Faculty members, Saudi Researchers and Graduate Assistants holding a minimum of five years full-time professional experience (prior to August 2023 to apply. Fellowship program will includes to following benefits
- Payment of tuition and fees at the assigned host university.
- Pre-academic English language training, if required
- A maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settling-in allowance
- Accident and sickness coverage
- A book allowance
- A one-time computer subsidy
- Air travel (international travel to and from the U.S. for the Program and domestic travel to required program events)
- Professional Development allowance for professional activities, such as field trips, professional visits, and conferences
