Dr. Adeel visited IRC-IMR on June 25th. He delivered a seminar on geometric control for robotic systems.

Dr. Adeel also presented
a souvenir to Dr. Samir in recognition to the hospitality offered by IRC-IMR for
arranging his seminar and inviting him.

After the seminar, IRC-IMR members had detailed discussion with Dr. Adeel regarding possible future collaborations. As a result of the discussions, the following topics for further collaboration were identified:
- Extension of the existing results in geometric control for incorporation of fault tolerance in robotics.
- Exploration of hybrid schemes that involve a combination of model-based and model-free control for robotic systems.
- Further development of mathematical models for application-specific modifications in the robotic systems and explore the possibility of designing geometric control for robotic systems with application-specific modifications.
