Infinity X: Your gateway to KFUPM's core labs and Research Centers

Infinity X is a cloud-based core facility management software that helps KFUPM's core labs and research centers manage their resources and operations more efficiently. It offers a variety of features, including:
- Resource management: Infinity allows core labs and research centers to track their equipment, inventory, and other resources in one place.
- Project management: Infinity helps core labs and research centers manage their projects, from scheduling and budgeting to tracking progress and reporting on results.
- Data management: Infinity collects and analyzes data from core labs' and research centers' operations, providing insights that can help them improve their efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting: Infinity generates a variety of reports that can be used to track core labs' and research centers' performance and identify areas for improvement.
All users can access Infinity X using SSO login using KFUPM login credentials.
Once you have created an Infinity X account, you will be able to:
- Make a reservation for equipment
- Track your requests
- Access reports

- How do I log in to Infinity X using my KFUPM account?
If you're having trouble accessing the system or are logging in for the first time, click on the “SSO” button and enter KFUPM credentials.

First-time users must complete initial setup steps: Select the department you belong to under “My Dept” and select at least one core you would like to access under “My Cores”

If your desired core is missing from the list when submitting the service request, you may need to manually add the core to your profile. Go to My Profile>My Cores>Search>Select Core>Add

Navigate to “Service Requests” on the left panel, select the desired core from top right dropdown box, then click on the desired request form.

Under the Basic Details box if your project code is not on the list then click on Don’t see your Project Code / PO? > Type your project code and expiration date (no need for type for name or grant.

Yes, you can add more than one sample by clicking on the “Add Another” button. You can copy the same sample information by clicking on the “Recycle” button to copy all the sample information for each added sample.

Open your request form > scroll down to the “Communication & Logs” section, write the subject and comment, and under the “Email” box select the person you would like to notify and click add > click send

Yes, Infinity X allows form reuse for efficiency. Click on your name initials on the top right>My Requests>Select Core>Click on the recycle icon under “Actions” to reuse the form.

Navigate to Instruments from the left panel > Select desired Core > for desired instrument, click on the three dots > Feedback > Fill the Feedback form > Submit

You can view the reason and current status of your request. Click on your name initials on the top right>My Requests>Select desired Core>click on the request ID > scroll down to the “Communication & Logs” > Click Logs > View the reason
