Core Research Facilities (CRF)

We provide research support to academic departments and interdisciplinary research centers at the university. It implements university-wide systems that facilitate research operations at KFUPM. The CRF is an enabling department that promotes programs geared toward empowering faculty members and researchers to help realize their research objectives. It provides crucial support in the areas of centralized core labs, procurement of chemicals, gases, and personal protective equipment, lab equipment repair and maintenance, safety, and high performance computing. To fulfill this mandate, a group of highly trained staff with diverse skill set serve as members of this center.
