Education, Training, and Short Courses
The rapid growth of energy efficiency markets worldwide has led to an increased demand for expertise and qualifications throughout industry, financial institutions, project developers, grid operators, regulators, and local administrative and policy setting bodies. Our belief is that knowledge and experience are key factors for energy efficiency and sustainable development of clean and secure energy supplies. The EETC aims to provide a broad range of knowledge services. The overall objective of EETC is to transfer knowledge with a strong practical orientation to students and professionals via specialist training programs of international standard related to energy efficiency. It is planned to offer a very broad range of training programs and capacity building services.
The Center serves as a hub for delivery of energy efficiency classes to students and short-courses to audiences within and outside the university. The EETC design allows students and participants to benefit from valuable work experience and international standards through exposure to them. Through training and capacity building, it will spread the necessary know-how in energy efficiency, and facilitate the international exchange of expertise and experience.
