The Center strives to become one of the leading academic Centers in educating students and professionals in energy efficiency, conducting research and providing services related to energy efficiency. CEEE also aims to facilitate technology transfer, help in the advancement and dissemination of knowledge, provide training, strengthen graduate studies and applied research.

APPLIED RESEARCH

CEEE works with industry inventors, utilities, policy makers, and investors to propel promising energy efficiency solutions – whether they are developed at the center or elsewhere – towards the critical intersection of technology, business development, and successful commercialization. Each learning & development (L&D) program, and various research projects work to address a critical issue that directly involves prevention, assessment and/or outcomes for energy efficient technologies, innovation and education within the mission of the energy efficiency center.


FOCUS AREAS

The Center has the following areas of focus since its establishment:

Education, Training, and Short Courses (EETC)

Transferring knowledge with a strong practical orientation to students and professionals via specialist training programs of international standard

Assessments Program (EEAP)

Improving the energy efficiency for industries and businesses through auditing. Assessments help industrial plants and buildings maximize energy efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.

Standards & Policy Development (EESPD)

Development of technical, economic, and environmental analyses, primarily to catalyze energy efficiency best practices.

Applied Research Projects (EEARP)

Dedicated to creating and deploying responsible energy-efficient solutions vital to preserving our economy and environment through scientific and applied research.
