Assessments Program

Assessments Program

Improving the energy efficiency for industries and businesses can offer significant advantages such as reduced energy use and costs and a smaller carbon footprint. Knowing where to start is the first step. To meet the challenge of the ever-changing energy marketplace, a successful organization must have an energy efficient management program to consistently take advantage of every energy conservation opportunity.

The EEAP focuses on conducting energy assessments conducted by center personnel. These assessments help identify low and no-cost energy conservation measures for improving energy efficiency, potential capital improvements for consideration and available incentives. A report is forwarded to the client following the assessment.
Under the EEAP, the technical capabilities of students and university professionals (CEA and  CEM faculty and engineers), is to be developed to conduct audits of buildings and industrial facilities. We offer services such as: energy assessments, benchmarking, suggesting tactical and strategic opportunities to reduce energy consumption, and formation of certified energy efficient plans. The specific measures recommended for energy conservation, waste minimization, and manufacturing productivity are designed to reduce production costs for small and medium-sized businesses. Assessments help industrial plants and buildings maximize energy efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
