Grand Challenges: KFUPM will develop the following:
1- Automation systems that shorten freight forwarding and delivery times as well as transportation costs of KSA’s shipments by 50% by 2030.

Develop digital twins of inter-modal and multi-modal supply chains to increase Saudi Arabia's logistics performance by more than 25% by 2030.

Design materials handling and shipment intralogistics models based on IoT/cloud computing that can be implemented in over 50% of KSA ports by 2030.
