Prof. Yichuan Wang joined KFUPM Business School, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals as a Professor of Marketing. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research lies at the intersection of marketing, digital health, information systems, with a specific focus on generative AI applications for social good and human-AI collaboration in professional settings. Employing advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies, his work has been published in leading journals, including Journal of Operations Management, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and International Journal of Operations and Production Management. Prof. Wang’s Google Scholar citation count stands at over 22,000 with an H-index of 55 (September 2026).

At the IRC-Fintech, Prof. Wang intends to explore the deployment of generative AI within healthcare domains, collaborating with center affiliates to produce high-quality research that offers both theoretical insights and practical business implications.
