Dr. Zainab Abdulkareem Joined IRC-FDE Team as Assistant Professor

Dr Zainab Abdulkareem is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Al-Hikmah University, Nigeria.

At KFUPM Business School, Dr Abdulkareem conducts multidisciplinary research that integrates traditional and emerging analytical techniques to solve complex problems and deepen understanding across diverse fields, including business, tourism, health, education, and engineering. She has published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. Within IRC-FDE, she aims to advance impactful research on AI adoption, user perception, and ethics while continuing to explore interdisciplinary multidimensional challenges. Her work is driven by a commitment to producing rigorous, relevant, and socially responsible research that informs practice and shapes the future of digital innovation.
