Dr Tanzeela Yaqoob holds Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Statistics, all awarded in distinctions along with First class First position in B.Sc. and M.Sc. Her research interest revolves around financial econometrics, energy economics, time series and sustainability. She has published numerous research papers in reputed peer-reviewed international journals including the Journal of Environmental Management, Gondwana Journal, Renewable Energy and Global Finance Journal. She is also serving as a reviewer, Guest editor and member of Editorial Board in various reputed journals. Her aim at IRC-FDE is to focus on enhancing empirical research in fintech and digital economics by using data-driven approaches augment with financial innovation, macroeconomic factors, and banking sector dynamics.
