Dr. Syed Quaid Ali Shah holds a Ph.D. in Management (Major: Accounting & Finance) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. His research interests lie in the areas of corporate accounting and finance, with a strong focus on Risk Management, Banking Regulations (Basel Accords), Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital, Corporate Governance, Integrated Reporting, ESG, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At IRC-FDE, Dr. Shah aims to advance scholarly and practical knowledge by conceptualizing and theorizing integrated frameworks that connect key elements of finance, accounting, and emerging digital technologies. His goal is to contribute impactful research in risk management, sustainable financial strategies, and digital transformation (FinTech), supporting the Center’s objectives through high-quality, interdisciplinary work.
