Dr. Malayaranjan Sahoo holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, with prior degrees from the University of Hyderabad and Utkal University. His research interests include Macroeconomics, Energy and Environmental Economics, Climate Change, and Applied Econometrics. He has published several research papers in reputed international journals such as Renewable Energy, Journal of Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, Transport Policy, and Telematics and Informatics. At IRC-FDE, his goal is to work on the Centre’s objectives, particularly in the areas of FinTech and related research, contributing to data-driven policy analysis, financial innovation, and sustainable economic development through interdisciplinary collaboration.
