SaudiCIS 2024 Junior Faculty Consortium (JFC), an event tailored for untenured faculty members, focusing on key aspects of professional development such as research, teaching, and service activities. This one-day event is designed to equip junior faculty with the tools and knowledge to navigate academic challenges and achieve a balanced professional life. During the consortium, participants will for faculty have the opportunity to interact with distinguished scholars, mid-career faculty who have recently gone through the tenure/promotion process, and peers. The primary aim of this workshop is to offer valuable Conferenc insights on planning and managing the tenure/promotion process, career development, and effective networking. The workshop will cover a variety of topics crucial to the promotion journey, including publication strategies, career planning, work-life balance, and managing collaborations. The format will be interactive to ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for all attendees.
