Mission

The mission of the Center is to conduct high-quality interdisciplinary research with the aim of developing energy-conserving and environment-friendly construction materials and systems that are compatible with the local environmental conditions. The emphasis of the research and developmental activities at the Center will be to fulfill the goals of Vision 2030.

The Center will also endeavor to develop existing human and physical resources in the University, facilitate technology transfer through visits of local and international experts, and develop awareness in the local construction industry on the construction-related problems and their solutions through meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences. The Center will also strive to commercialize the intellectual property developed by its stakeholders with the aim of benefiting the local construction industry and attracting international investments.
