Terrestrial Facilities
The terrestrial section is equipped with different survey instruments like dumpy level, tripod and Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (RS-GIS). Software like Arc GIS is extensively used for habitat mapping and change detection. The habitat mapping done for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and change detection made in the coastal area are shown below.
