The Oceanographic Laboratory is one of the most important facilities in the center where marine instrumentation related activities are being carried out. Major activities include Calibration of marine instruments, data acquisition and pre and post-processing of collected data. The major instruments available here include Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) Profilers, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), Directional Wave and Tide recorders, Real Time Monitoring Underwater Cameras, Real Time Monitoring Buoys, Echo Sounders, Multibeam Echo Sounder, , Tide Gauges, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV), Multiparameter Water Quality Sondes, Water Samplers, Rossette, etc.
