Marine Biology Museum

Museums play a vital role for the present and future generations of Man by showing the treasures of Nature. In the CEMS Marine Biology Museum, specimens of marine creatures collected from the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea have been exhibited. These specimens have been collected through 40 years of research in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea. Specimens have been organized in an informative way that will be useful to the students and for those who are interested in taxonomic studies. Specimens exhibited here include, algae, seagrass, seaweeds, invertebrates (corals, polychaetes, crustaceans, molluscs, and echinoderms), fishes, sea snakes, etc.
