As the world enters an era of increasing demands which eventually impacts the environment and human well-being, future sustainable development needs to integrate scientific knowledge with technological developments and effective policies. It is at this key juncture, that CEW has flourished and is playing a pivotal role by integrating scientific knowledge and research into various infrastructural development projects in the oil and gas industry. The Center at present is conducting a series of Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental monitoring programs along the onshore and offshore of Arabian Gulf and Red Sea. Currently, CEW has 32 active projects with several clients such as Saudi Aramco, Sharqiya Development Authority, SAIPEM, Subsea 7, KBR-AMCDE, Dynamics, WOOD, Petro Rabigh etc. Each project has deliverables which can vary according to the nature of the project and the stakeholders’ requirements. Reports are arguably the most valuable tool available to project teams and stakeholders. Failure to submit progress, interim, annual, and final reports on time may lead to delay in execution of the project, processing delays, or might end up creating a huge financial burden for clients. CEW with professionalism and in-depth scientific knowledge has never let down any of its clients even during this global pandemic crisis.
