Job Description
The IRC-INE currently seeks highly qualified post-doctoral candidates with substantial expertise and comprehensive knowledge in various domains related to nuclear energy. We welcome applications from individuals experienced in, but not restricted to, the following areas:
- Nuclear thermal hydraulics
- Nuclear materials science
- Nuclear reactor design and safety
- Reactor physics
- Nuclear fuel cycle and waste management
- Radiation protection and safety
- Modeling of nuclear reactor multi-physics
- Nuclear fusion technology
- Advanced reactor design
- Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) Development
- Nuclear safeguards and security
- Nuclear energy policy
- Instrumentation and control in nuclear
- Digital twins and deep learning in nuclear
- Nuclear Industry Supply Chain and Infrastructure
- Nuclear Data and Benchmarking
Job Responsibility
- Conduct cutting-edge research aligned with the center's focus on nuclear energy advancements.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals.
- Collaborate with the research team, fostering interdisciplinary connections and knowledge exchange.
- Aid in writing grant proposals and securing funding for ongoing and new research endeavors.
- Align efforts with the center's objectives, contributing to its mission of nuclear science and technology advancement.
- Teach courses and laboratory sessions in the field of nuclear engineering.
Qualification
- A PhD in Engineering or Science fields with a background in Nuclear or radiological applications.
- Demonstrated expertise through previous research projects, publications, and contributions in areas relevant to nuclear energy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to initiate and drive research projects, innovative thinking, and a passion for advancing knowledge in nuclear engineering.
