Mohamed Hussein joins the Center as a Post Doctoral Fellow
The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. Mohamed Hussein as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR, in 2022. Prior to joining KFUPM, he served as an Assistant Professor at Assiut University, Egypt, from June 2023 to September 2026.
Dr. Hussein’s research expertise includes industrialized and modular construction, supply chains and logistics, simulation modeling, operations research and optimization, digital twins, blockchain, data analytics, sustainability, and smart water infrastructure. His research focuses on developing intelligent decision-support frameworks that integrate life-cycle sustainability assessment, simulation, optimization, artificial intelligence, and digital-twin technologies to support low-carbon, circular, resilient, and resource-efficient construction and infrastructure systems.
