The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. Sk Saddam Hossain as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India, in 2020. Prior to joining KFUPM, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Texas A&M University, USA; Luleå University of Technology, Sweden; and the Korea Institute of Materials Science, South Korea, between January 2021 and January 2026.

Dr. Hossain’s research expertise includes waste-to-ceramics, lightweight materials, and high-temperature ceramics. His work focuses on sustainable materials, additive manufacturing of ceramics, porous ceramics for energy and environmental applications, lunar construction, and geopolymer technology.
