Dr. Mohammed Siddiq joins IRC-CBM as a Post Doctoral Fellow

Dr. Mohammed Siddiq is an accomplished researcher specializing in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and hybrid nanomaterials. He completed his Ph.D. at the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute, University of Madras, with a focus on surfactant-mediated green synthesis and its applications. He previously serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IIT Madras in the Polymer Engineering & Colloids Science Laboratory in Department of Chemical Engineering. His areas of expertise include material characterization, colloidal science, and surface phenomena. Dr. Mohammed Siddiq has previously worked at CSIR as a Senior Research Fellow, contributing extensively to polymer science and technology research. With research focusing on hybrid nanostructures for cancer therapy, the micellization of surfactants, and nanomaterials thermophysical properties. He is also well-versed in interpreting thermodynamic parameters related to material properties. Key Research Interests: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Hybrid Nanomaterials Synthesis, Material Characterization, Colloids and Surface Science. He holds lifetime memberships in the Indian Society of Surface Science and Technology and the Indian Thermodynamics Society, Dr. Mohammed Siddiq continues to contribute to cutting-edge research in nanotechnology and aims to advance the development of innovative nanomaterials for diverse applications. |
