Dr. Mohammed Fasil joins IRC-CBM as a Post Doctoral Fellow
IRC-CBM is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Fasil as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the center. Dr. Fasil's research interests include the application of non-metallic and FRP composites, such as glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars in construction, large-scale strength testing of GFRP bar-reinforced concrete structural members, finite element modeling, structural health monitoring, and the application of machine learning algorithms in strength predictions. He has also worked in the application of tuned mass dampers in structural vibration control. Dr. Fasil’s research during his Ph.D. and M.Tech. has generated several articles in high-impact factor journals and has been presented at numerous international conferences. Dr. Fasil is committed to advancing the pioneering research underway at the center, and the center eagerly anticipates the impactful contributions that he will bring to IRC-CBM.
