Dr. Madhan Kuppusamy joins the Center as a Post Doctoral Fellow
The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. K. Madhan as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Anna University, India, in 2020.
Prior to joining KFUPM, Dr. Madhan worked as a Researcher at Kyungpook National University, South Korea (July 2025 – March 2026), and as a Research Scientist at GOONWORLD Corporate Research Institute, South Korea (September 2022 – June 2025). He also served as an Assistant Professor at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Arts and Science, India, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at SSN College of Engineering, India (August 2020 – August 2021).
Dr. Madhan’s research focuses on the development of photocatalytic construction materials for environmental applications, including thermal insulation coatings, NOx abatement, and CO₂ capture. His work aims to create cost-effective and sustainable material solutions that improve air quality and enhance energy efficiency in urban environments.
