Dr. Jagan Sivamani joins IRC-CBM as a Post Doctoral Fellow
The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. Jagan Sivamani as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, India, in 2021.
Prior to joining KFUPM, Dr. Sivamani served as an Associate Professor at Sona College of Technology from April 2022 to December 2025, and previously as an Assistant Professor at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education from August 2015 to March 2021, gaining valuable experience in teaching, research supervision, and applied structural materials research.
Dr. Sivamani’s research expertise includes recycled concrete aggregates and their treatment, geopolymer concrete, sustainable waste-derived construction materials, and life cycle assessment (LCA). His work focuses on developing eco-efficient concrete by exploring sustainable treatment methods for construction and demolition waste, enabling their effective use in durable and environmentally responsible concrete systems.
