The IRC-Construction and Building Materials at KFUPM is pleased to welcome Dr. Georgios Papazafeiropoulos as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 2022. Prior to joining KFUPM, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution from 2022 to 2026.

Dr. Papazafeiropoulos’s research expertise lies in computational mechanics and the application of artificial intelligence in engineering. His work focuses on the numerical analysis of materials and structures, integrating advanced machine learning techniques to enhance predictive modeling and simulation capabilities. He specializes in bridging engineering analysis with AI-driven approaches, including the development of novel cluster-boosted neural networks for complex engineering problems.
