Overview
The IRC-ASE has been established at KFUPM with the goal of advancing disciplinary aerospace research through the development of innovative technologies and significant approaches that support the development of the aviation and space sectors in the kingdom and abroad. IRC-ASE is in line with the strategic objectives of Kingdom's Vision 2030 and Saudi Space Commission (SSC) by supporting the localization of critical aviation and aerospace industries, developing Saudi human capital in space, boosting national resilience, and promoting national identity.
IRC-ASE aims to offer a broad range of services that support students, faculty, and other customers in utilizing small satellites and aerospace resources designed, developed, and tested within the center. The center's partnership with premier entities such as the Saudi Space Commission (SSC) will provide essential support to establish space infrastructure and promote a globally competitive environment, thus strengthening the Kingdom's presence in space.
IRC-ASE is focused on addressing multiple research challenges, including Space Systems Design & Testing, Remote Sensing & Data Analysis, Small Satellites Development, Aviation Ecosystem Enhancement, and many more. Through advanced research and development programs, the center aims to create a supportive environment for cutting-edge aerospace research and achieve favorable outcomes. In this way, IRC-ASE is well-positioned to make a significant contribution to the rapidly expanding aviation and space industries of the Kingdom.
