Two high school students mentored at the Advanced Materials Center at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) earned special Awards at the Mawhiba/Ibdaa Final Competition 2026. The Mawhiba/Ibdaa competition is one of the Kingdom’s leading national platforms for showcasing exceptional young talent and innovation in science and technology. 

Saud Saber received Award from the King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology (KACST) in the computational chemistry and energy materials.

Luluwah Sami Alomar received Award from Riyadh Airlines, also in the computational chemistry and energy materials.
