Dr. Rami K. Suleiman presented the seminar entitled, “Recent Approaches towards the Development of Efficient Multifunctional Protective Hybrid Sol-gel Coatings” on 17th February 2021. He highlighted the synthesis, functionalization, and application of novel hybrid sol-gel polymeric protective coatings for various metallic substrates. His in house fabricated hybrid coatings revealed promising anticorrosion and antifouling properties compared to the commercial chromate and phosphate conversion coatings.
