Wadha Mutaib Almattar received her MSc degree in advanced computer science from the University of Sheffield, UK, in 2011. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in computer science at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Prior to joining KFUPM, Almattar has worked as a lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU) since 2012. Her professional interests focus on data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. Specifically, utilizing deep learning in medical imaging for disease diagnosis. She has recently shown interest in pattern recognition for digital forensics.
Almattar has two TOT diplomas certified by the Global Academy for Training and Consulting and the Oxford Leading Training Organization. She had worked for King Abdulaziz and his Companions' Foundations for Giftedness and Creativity in different positions in different programs since 2016. She worked as a data analyst and taught programming at the largest scientific camp for orphans in the Kingdom (Misbar).
Norah Ahmed Almubairik received her Master’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, in 2016. Since then, she has worked as a qualified cybersecurity and digital forensics lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU). Her professional interests focus on authentication protocols, network security, penetration testing, and digital forensics. More specifically, volatile memory and the Internet of Things forensics. Almubairik and her team at the IAU filed a patent for multi-factor authentication titled "Methods, computer-readable media, and systems for authentication using a text file and a one-time password” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Currently, Almubairik is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Security and Net-Centric Computing at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). She had worked as a cryptography trainer and cybersecurity expert reviewer for King Abdulaziz and his Companions' Foundations for Giftedness and Creativity. She had participated as a cybersecurity trainer for the Kingdom's largest scientific camp for orphans (Misbar) and worked as a digital forensics content writer and consultant at Confidential.
