Quantum-Enhanced Secured Satellite Communication Framework for Smart Mobility and Healthcare
CoI: Dr.Sami El-Ferik
This project proposes an innovative Quantum-Secured Integrated Space-Air-Ground 6G Network designed to address the pressing healthcare challenges in Saudi Arabia. Aiming to revolutionize healthcare delivery, particularly in remote and underserved regions, the system drones and terrestrial 6G technologies. This network ensures seamless, secure, and real-time medical services across the Kingdom’s diverse geographical landscape, including urban centers like Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as desert regions and coastal cities. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) forms the foundation of the system's security, offering robust protection against future quantum computing threats. The 6G infrastructure provides ultra-low latency, which is vital for time-sensitive healthcare applications such as emergency medical response and drone-based healthcare logistics. A significant component of the research involves the development of mathematical models for resource optimization and the implementation of quantum-secured routing algorithms tailored to Saudi Arabia's unique geographical challenges. The project will conduct simulations using real-world data, analyzing performance across both densely populated urban areas and sparsely populated rural regions.
