Contextual Observability of Software-Defined Vehicles
CoI: Dr. Sami El Ferik
The objective of this project is to develop a testbed for contextual observability of software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The testbed will facilitate continuous monitoring of system health, resource consumption tracking, and network integrity, providing real-time insights to proactively detect and mitigate issues. The testbed will apply advanced analytics, including anomaly detection, data association, and trend analysis, to uncover patterns, predict failures, and optimize SDV performance. It will also support causal inference research, enabling deeper insights into how software updates, environmental changes, and network connectivity affect vehicle behavior. Moreover, the testbed will enhance automated incident response and troubleshooting.
