Saudi Aramco organized and conducted an Energy Campaign at Abqaiq during 15th – 18th of April 2013. A plot of 23,000 m2 was provided by the municipality of Abqaiq to host the entire ECC event and programs. Personnel from the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Renewable Energy and Power Systems represented KFUPM at this Energy Campaign which received over 20,000 visitors. During the 4 day event the visitors were introduced about various renewable energy technologies and the role and efforts of KFUPM as leading educators and quality research conducted in the region for renewable energy technologies.
