IRC-REPS's director, Dr. Fahad A. Al-Sulaiman spent two months as visiting scholar, during summer of 2015 at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), National University of Singapore.

SERIS is Singapore's national institute for applied solar energy research. The institute is sponsored by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore's National Research Foundation (NRF) through the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). SERIS is structured as a National Laboratory at NUS SERIS is Singapore’s national institute for applied solar energy research. The institute's vision is to be a leading solar energy research institute in the world, contributing to global sustainable development and aims at the mission of developing industrially relevant materials, components, processes, systems and services in the fields of solar energy conversion and solar and energy-efficient buildings.
