We are pleased to announce that the IRC for Sustainable Energy Systems has been awarded the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) Excellence Award 2024 in the category of Human Capital Development and Entrepreneurship. This honor recognizes our efforts in the Renewable Energy Technical Incubator (RETI), a collaboration with NIDLP aimed at fostering innovation in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and Industry 4.0 technologies. RETI serves as a key platform to empower researchers, students, and local developers, aligning with the sustainability and economic diversification goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

So far, RETI has made significant strides, supporting the capacity building of over 340 individuals, facilitating the development of 6 patents, establishing 2 research labs, advancing one joint venture, and producing 13 prototypes. These achievements were made possible through the generous funding and coordination from NIDLP.
