The Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference 2024 (SASG 24), held in Riyadh, gathered experts to discuss the future of smart grids, renewable energy integration, and emerging technologies. The conference covered topics such as AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, and energy storage, emphasizing the need for localized solutions in smart grid deployment and sustainable energy.

Researchers from IRC-SES at KFUPM, including participants from the Renewable Energy Technical Incubator (RETI), funded by the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), made notable contributions to SASG 24.
