A team of Research Scientists form IRC-Membranes and Water Security, participated in Second International conference entitled “The Innovation Driven Desalination Conference 2023 (IDD 2023)” organized by Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) in Jeddah 1-3/10/2023. They represented IRC-MWS and KFUPM by participating in different activities which include Live demo of the filtration performance of the fabricated membranes using cross-flow filtration system in conference booth to local and international audiences from both academia and industry. They also contributed to panel and round table discussions with leading researchers from the world over on emerging challenges regarding desalination and proposed possible solutions. IRC-MWS and KFUPM received enormous appreciation and attention from the audiences for latest developments especially in the area of fabricating membranes locally in the Kingdom for membrane-based desalination.
