Presenter: Mr. David Bromley, President at David Bromley Engineering Ltd.

Organized by: Interdisciplinary Research Center for Membrane and Water Security
14 Dec 2023 @ 03:00 PM
Bldg. 4 Auditorium Room

Abstract:

This presentation introduces the groundbreaking concept of Replaceable Skin Layer (RSL) Membranes. The session focuses on the RSL Membrane, a novel technology conceptualized and developed by Mr. Bromley, representing a significant leap in membrane efficiency and cost-effectiveness. In this presentation, Mr. Bromley will delve into the technical aspects of the RSL Membrane, its development process, and its practical applications. He will also discuss the broader implications of this technology in terms of energy consumption and environmental impact, drawing from his extensive experience in understanding the interplay between water and energy.

Biography:

Mr. David Bromley M.Eng., P. E. is an internationally recognized expert in industrial and pure water treatment technology as well as the impact of water on energy consumption and conversely the impact of energy on water consumption. He is a Professional Engineer who has operated his own Engineering practice for 41 years working throughout North America, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand and the Caribbean. Mr. Bromley has an engineering degree from the University of Toronto and has a Masters of Engineering Degree in water treatment from McMaster University which was one of the world’s leading universities in the area of water treatment. He has been involved in the development and assessment of over 50 technologies related to water treatment. Mr. Bromley is the inventor and is leading the development of the world’s most efficient and lowest cost membrane technology. The application of the technology has been successful with some of the world’s largest oil and gas corporations.
