The National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) is a Central European scientific institute with a rich history and significant contributions to physics, nuclear and plasma technologies, and astrophysics. It conducts interdisciplinary research in fields such as physics, materials engineering, automation, electronics, space technologies, environmental engineering, mining, energy, and pharmaceutical sciences.
The world-renowned MARIA Research Reactor is extensively used for research, including material science, and is also widely known for producing radioactive isotopes for medical diagnostics and treatments. This seminar will provide the audience with a glimpse into the various research activities conducted at NCBJ.
