We are excited to share a proud moment for three of our talented undergraduate students: Abdullah Nader Alkhater and Muhammad Salem Alsharief from the Aerospace Engineering Department, and Rayan Ibrahim Almosawi from the Control and Instrumentation Engineering Department, who successfully presented their research papers at the 21st IEEE International Colloquium on Signal Processing & Its Applications (CSPA) held on 7th–8th February 2025 in Parkroyal Penang Resort, Penang Island, Malaysia.

Their research was conducted under a Guided Research Project funded by KFUPM’s Undergraduate Research Office and supervised by our Postdoc Dr Ghulam E Mustafa Abro. Furthermore, it is indeed an immense pleasure to share that among these three students under Dr Ghulam E Mustafa Abro's supervision, Rayan  got for Best Research Paper Award a prestigious recognition decided and awarded during the closing ceremony of this flagship conference organiser by IEEE Control Systems Society - Malaysia Chapter. This achievement highlights IRC-ASE KFUPM’s commitment to fostering cutting-edge research and innovation at the undergraduate level preparing students for impactful contributions to the field.
