Dr. Ashraf Farahat, Associate Professor, Physics Department and IRC for Aviation and Space Exploration Center (IRC-ASE) affiliate was a keynote speaker and participated in a discussion panel with some world’s experts in the field of cloud seeding to highlight insights gained from international cloud seeding programs to mitigate desertification during the COP16 United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, Riyadh 2 – 13 December 2024. The dialogue session concluded with a call to unify research and development efforts in cloud seeding. 👏
