IRC-CSS affiliates attend KAUST research open week.
Dr. Ali Muqaibel, director of the IRC for communication systems and sensing, and some of his affiliates, including Dr. Mohammed Zaher Khan, Dr. Saleh Ahmed Alwash, and Dr. Abdulmajid Lawal, attended the KAUST research open week. The event, which is a showcase of research excellence, was attended by 500 people and featured 71 speakers. Dr. Ali Muqaibel gave an interesting talk on the topic of solving the spectrum crunch in KSA, which is related to the project on which the IRC-CSS is working directly with King Abdallah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), King Saud University (KSU), and Communication, Space and Technology Commission (CST). The event provides a unique forum for a broader discussion as well as networking opportunities for faculty, research staff, and colleagues from industry and government entities. National and international experts from leading organizations in the energy, water, environment, food and health, and the digital domain were in attendance.
