These professionals, appointed as professors of practice, work alongside KFUPM faculty to enrich the educational experience with real-world insights, cutting-edge industry practices, and current challenges faced by businesses. By fostering strong collaboration between academia and industry, this program equips students and researchers with valuable industry exposure, and recent industry practices, and required skills. The main responsibility of professors of practice is teaching, but they are highly encouraged to participate in research activities, PhD/MS thesis committees, and supervision of undergraduate senior design projects.
