Visit of Sultan Qaboos University Delegation to the Center for Membranes and Water Security

The Center for Membranes and Water Security was honored to host a distinguished delegation from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Sunday, 19 October 2025. The visit aimed to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest, particularly water research, innovation, and sustainable technologies.

The visit began with a welcome presentation by Prof. Isam H. Aljundi, who highlighted the achievements, ongoing projects, and future opportunities of the Center for Membranes and Water Security. His presentation emphasized the Center’s commitment to advancing research on innovative membrane technologies, sustainable water treatment solutions, and regional water security challenges.
Following the presentation, both teams engaged in an open discussion to explore potential avenues for joint research projects, faculty exchange, and collaborative initiatives in the fields of water purification, resource sustainability, and technology transfer.
The visit reinforced the shared vision of both institutions to foster impactful research partnerships addressing critical water and environmental issues in the region.
