Green Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Lab (H2FCL)

H2FCL is an energy initiative that is co-funded by the IRC for Smart Mobility and Logistics (SML) for and the Chemical Engineering Department (CHE) for teaching and research purposes. Research carried out in H2FCL focuses on green H2-based integrated systems for mobility applications including the use of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) in electric vehicles (EVs) and unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs). The facility also provides hands-on experience for the CHE-hosted Renewable Energy & H2 Mobility concentration students and supports their interdisciplinary undergraduate senior design, training, and research efforts.
