The vision of the Center is to be a leading institute in the field of corrosion with the ultimate aim of developing solutions and facilities for mitigating corrosion related problems.

The mission of the center is as follows:

Utilize the available pool of human resources and facilities in conducting basic and applied research in corrosion.

Develop a strategy to combat corrosion and minimize its impact on the industry, civil society, and environment.

Provide support to the industry in solving the corrosion problems.

Enhance corrosion awareness in the society.

Share knowledge on corrosion prevention.

Support the development of creative and innovative research activities in the area of corrosion prevention and monitoring.
